The Austin Drive parkrun officially launches on Saturday, November 21, 2026. This scenic trail route will host a completely free, weekly 5k event open to all fitness levels, welcoming neighbours to move at their own pace and connect outdoors.
Event
Austin Drive parkrun is a relaxed, family-friendly gathering where you can run, jog, walk, volunteer, or spectate, it’s entirely up to you! There are zero time limits, and dedicated volunteer tail walkers ensure no one ever finishes last. The course is fully accessible for strollers and wheelchairs as well.
But wait… the fun doesn’t end at the finish line! Everyone is invited to head over to a local café right after to grab a warm coffee, catch up with locals, and meet new people.
Dates & Hours
Every Saturday at 8:00am (May – September) & 9:00am (October – April)
Time: Mornings (9:00 AM from October to April, and 8:00 AM from May to September)
Participation & Registration
Participation is completely free, but you must register online in advance before your very first visit. You only ever need to register once, so securing your barcode early is the best way to guarantee your time is tracked and emailed to you right after the event.
Want to bring your furry friend along for the morning? The course is dog-friendly, making it the perfect chance to explore the park trails with your pup and enjoy a breezy weekend morning out together. There are just a few quick FYIs to keep in mind before bringing your pet along for the stroll.
