We’ve Got the Dirt on Farms in Markham!
Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O! Markham has many farms to choose from with different activities to do at each. Picking your own strawberries, going through a corn maze, or admiring beautiful flowers; there is a farm in Markham for you and your family to enjoy.
Reesor’s Farm Market
With the Farm Market open from June to September you can purchase and enjoy locally grown fresh produce from the Reesor’s Farm and other surrounding farms. They have fruits, vegetables, flowers, baked goods, and frozen food available for purchase. In June and early July, they are open for pick your own fresh strawberries, and in October they open for pick your own pumpkins!

In addition to their market of fresh produce and items from local farms, Carma Farms is the home to many animals. Pigs, chickens, cows, and goats are just some of the animals you can visit at Carma Farms. They have animal feed available for purchase in the market. Spend the day visiting with the animals at Carma Farms and bring home something from the market to enjoy for days to come.

Organics Family Farm
Specializing in strawberries and apples, Organics Farm is the only certified fully organic farm in the GTA. In their market, they sell pasteurized lamb, pasteurized beef, pasteurized pork, fresh honey, and fruits and vegetables. Since Organics Farm is 100% organic, they do not use any pesticides in their growing process and rely on bees to pollinate and help their plants grow! They have welcomed Vlad’s Bees to their property to help with the growth of their crop, but to also help the bee population recover and to help educate visitors about the importance of bees.

Judy’s Tropical Garden
Judy’s Tropical Garden is not your ordinary Ontario farm. In additional to traditional produce found in Ontario, they also grow produce that is found in warmer climates around the world! Stop by Judy’s Tropical Garden to see what unique tropical produce that have available this year. If there is any tropical produce that they do not have, just ask, they are open to new crop suggestions!

Sunflower Fields of Markham
New this year, is the Sunflower Fields of Markham! Visit and explore over 20 acres of sunflower fields. Walk through the trails and climb up the lookout stations to discover the endless fields of flowers. Come with your family and friends and make some unforgettable memories at this picturesque sunflower field. You can purchase your own bouquet of sunflowers and some sweet treats during your visit to the Sunflower Fields of Markham. Purchase tickets ahead of time on their website to reserve your spot!
