The Taste of Asia festival is returning to Markham in the summer of 2023, and it promises to be a feast for the senses. This three-day event celebrates the multicultural mosaic of Canada by bringing together the flavours, fragrances, and colours of many Asian countries. With a diverse lineup of food vendors, cultural performances, and fun activities for all ages, this festival is a must-attend event for foodies and culture enthusiasts.

Event Highlights

Experience NORTH AMERICA’S LARGEST OUTDOOR ASIAN FESTIVAL! Three BIG days of cultural events, family-friendly attractions, and food. Taste of Asia, Canada’s largest Asian festival, is an annual event organized by the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM), and the Association of Progressive Muslims of Canada (APMC). It is an exciting, high-energy event celebrating harmony, cuisine, and culture for the past twenty years. Heading into its 21st year, there will be even more culturally diverse activities – both flavourful and fun!

Free Admission. Everyone welcome!

Food Stands: Over 150 food vendors serving up a variety of cuisine.

International Stars: Cultural performances showcasing traditional music, dance, and art forms from many countries.

Guest Speakers: Leaders of the community speaking on Canada’s diversity and addressing racism.

Plan Your Visit

To make the most of your visit to the Taste of Asia festival, here are some tips to help you plan your visit:

Admission is FREE!
Operating hours: June 23 5pm – 11pm, June 24 11am – 11pm, & June 25 11am – 5pm
Arrive early to avoid the crowds and secure a good spot for your favorite performances
Wear comfortable clothing and footwear as you’ll be walking around a lot
Bring sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water to stay hydrated
Bring cash as some vendors may not accept credit cards
Consider taking public transportation as parking may be limited
