Markham Safe Campaign

As part of Destination Markham’s Tourism and Recovery Plan, the Markham Safe Campaign is a multi-faceted economic recovery and marketing initiative. It is designed to communicate the safety measures businesses are taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to re-establish consumers’ confidence by promoting Markham as “open for business” and safe to enjoy.

It also serves to provide businesses with the most up-to-date information and resources available to assist in the economic recovery of Markham’s tourism, hospitality, attraction, and retail sectors.

The Markham Safe Ambassador Squad

The “Markham Safe Ambassador Squad” is an integral part of the “Markham Safe” campaign. Ambassadors offering services in (8) eight different languages have been deployed into our community providing critical Business to Business and Business to Consumer interface with personal one on one communication about Markham Safe Initiatives.

This includes information about:

• Marketing opportunities
• Technology support
• Educational resources
• Safe business guidelines & protocols
• Networking and collaboration opportunities
