- First time Markham Pan Centre & City of Markham host an international Artistic Swimming event
- First in a series of 4 World Cup events, around the world
- First time the recently approved new judging system will be used internationally in a FINA-sanctioned event. Canada is proud to play a major part in the redesign of the system
123 Artistic Swimming high-performance athletes from 23 Federations (countries) will compete for the top spot.
